Peer Review
Every document that we produce is designed toward a specific audience. Before your document is ready for delivery, it is usually a good idea to receive feedback from an audience which we can use to make improvements.
Choose two peers to which you can provide feedback. Go to Discussions and select the Brochure (Draft) and Peer Reviews topic and do the following.
1. Find two peers which you would like to peer review.
a. Post a message on the brochure submission post
stating that you will be reviewing them. For
example, you can write “I will provide peer feedback
to you.”
b. Do not choose someone who already has two
comments.
c. Do this as soon as possible, so others know who
you will be working with.
2. Download the peer’s brochure. You will be reading and
analyzing it.
3. Answer the following questions. You will post the
answer as a reply to their essay submission message.
a. What is your overall impression of the brochure?
b. What section of the brochure do you think was done the best?
c. What section do you think needs improvements? What
recommendations would you make to the designer?
d. What do you think the “message” of the brochure is?
e. Who do you think is the intended audience? Do you think the needs of the audience are met?
